What God Says About Not Giving Up In The Bible

Today may be one of those days when we don’t feel good.

One of those days when discouragement strikes because you don’t get what you want and because obstacles predominate in life.

Today, I opened my Bible looking for encouragement and found it.

I found the reason to not give up.

The reason to keep going, although sometimes it can feel like everything is against me.

I would like to share it with you, it’s in the book of Psalms, it says:

I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.

Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.

Psalms‬ ‭27:13-14‬

In this psalm, David expresses that the afflictions of his life were of such magnitude that on his own he would have lost control and strength.

But one thing helped him move forward, even though it seemed like everything was against him.

A small but powerful word: hope.

David knew he was not alone, and that God was not going to abandon him to his fate.

David knew that God was with him, and that his goodness had not been exhausted.

David understood that the trial would end, and then he would see more clearly the goodness of God, as long as he was alive.

Dear friend, you and I can also have hope that we will see God’s goodness if we just put our trust in Him.

You and I can also have the strength to continue, even if things are not going well, if we understand that God does not abandon us, and if we understand that after the storm God will bring calm.

This is why the psalmist ends by saying, “Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord”

It is the certainty that we can expect the good from God what gives us the ability to move forward in the midst of life’s trials and sorrows.

My friend, look today from where you are to heaven and understand with me that if you put your trust in God, you will see clearly that He has not forsaken you, and that He is in control of everything.

This is why you can have peace and hope that everything will improve.

What’s the circumstance you’re going through? Do you feel that things are not going well in your life? Share with all of us to grow together.
