Salvation is the greatest gift that the Lord Jesus has given us, in the Bible there are many verses about salvation and how beautifully we can all enjoy it.
Although the way in which we can obtain salvation in simple is true that a historical event had to happen and that marked the world, which was the death of Jesus.
Today we want to delight in the word of God, with some verses about salvation, which will help us to reflect and to want to seek this wonderful gift.
And in no other is there salvation; for there is no other name under heaven, given to men, in which we can be saved.
They said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you and your house will be saved.
Who saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His purpose and the grace that was given to us in Christ Jesus before the times of the ages.
2 Timothy 1:9
In God only my soul is silenced;
From him comes my salvation.
And whosoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not err; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminates, nor those who cast themselves on men, nor thieves, nor greedy, nor drunkards, nor cursers, nor swindlers, shall inherit the kingdom of God.
1 Corinthians 6:9-10
For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, but with the mouth one confesses unto salvation.
For the grace of God has manifested itself for salvation to all men, teaching us that, renouncing ungodliness and worldly desires, we should live in this age soberly, justly and piously.
For the Son of Man came to seek and save what had been lost.
The Lord does not delay his promise, as some have it for delay, but He is patient with us, not wanting any to perish, but for all to proceed to repentance.
2 Peter 3:9
He who believes and is baptized shall be saved; but he who does not believe shall be condemned.
Enter through the narrow gate; for wide is the gate, and the way that leads to perdition is spacious, and many are those who enter through it; for narrow is the gate, and narrow is the way that leads to life, and few are those who find it.
So also Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many; And he will appear a second time, unrelated to sin, to save those who await him.
Whom you love without having seen him, in whom believing, even if you do not see him now, you rejoice with ineffable and glorious joy; obtaining the end of your faith, which is the salvation of your souls.
1 Peter 1:8-9
For thus has the Lord commanded us, saying:
I have set you up for the light of the Gentiles,
That you may be unto salvation to the ends of the earth.
For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone who believes; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
Certainly, hardly anyone will die for a righteous one; However, it could be that someone dared to die for the good one. But God shows his love for us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
For if, being enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we will be saved by his life.
You also gave me the shield of your salvation;
Your right hand sustained me,
And your kindness has made me great.
You widened my steps under me,
And my feet haven’t slipped.
Although the fig tree does not bloom,
Nor in the vines are there fruits,
Although the product of the olive tree is missing,
And the wrought do not give maintenance,
And the sheep be removed from the flock,
And let there be no cows in the pens;
Yet I will rejoice in Jehovah,
And I will rejoice in the God of my salvation.
Then Jesus, looking at them, said, “For men it is impossible, but not for God; for all things are possible with God.
For in my eyes you were of great esteem,
You were honorable, and I loved you;
I will therefore give men for you,
and nations for your life.
I love you, O Lord, my strength.
Jehovah, my rock and my castle, and my deliverer;
My God, my strength, I will trust in him;
My shield, and the strength of my salvation, my high refuge.
I further declare to you, brethren, the gospel which I have preached to you, which you also received, in which you also persevere; wherefore, likewise, if ye withhold the word which I have preached unto you, ye are saved, if ye did not believe in vain.
1 Corinthians 15:1-2
That God was in Christ reconciling the world to himself, not taking men into account their sins, and entrusted us with the word of reconciliation.
2 Corinthians 5:19
The righteous cry out, and Jehovah hears,
And it frees them from all their anxieties.
Jehovah is near to the brokenhearted;
And save the contrite of spirit.
The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it abundantly.
And having been perfected, he became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey him.
Because I know that by your prayer and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ, this will result in my deliverance.
For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
No matter our condition, no matter our sin, no matter our past. Christ Jesus gives you salvation and a new chance at life.
